Children’s capsule collections… for a cheerful and refreshing summer
This summer, La Redoute is making two forays into children’s dressing by welcoming the brands Frangin Frangine and Arsène et Les Pipelettes.
At La Redoute, the Summer 2023 children’s capsules will be cheerful, joyful, refreshing or not. “Frangin Frangine” takes us into its playful and wonderful world of carefree fun. “Arsène et Les Pipelettes” displays the colours: mischievous, modern and vitamin. These collections imagined by the designers and designed by our teams are the promise of happy days – Sylvette Lepers, Head of Image and Design Partnerships.
FRANGIN FRANGINE
La Redoute invites the fashion label “Frangin Frangine” to create a capsule of summer essentials. “Frangin Frangine” is a brand in the air of time, which combines very well cute and modernity for Sylvette Lepers.
Born in 2008, the brand was taken over in 2017 by Aude Aubron and Mylène Kiener to give it a new impulse. For La Redoute, they deliver a soft and light mini collection of 8 pieces easy to wear, mix and match.
A romper, a shirt, jeans, a sweater, a top, an apron dress, trousers and a waistcoat… we find the iconic pieces of the label, twisted in natural materials (cotton, seersucker, denim). The retro details dear to the designers are there: embroidery, openwork pointelle knit, collar, basque, ecru croquet and pretty buttons to enhance these relatively simple creations in the cuts. And the flagship piece, the Smala sweatshirt, also available in adult sizes, recalls the very identity of the brand, the family.

ARSENE ET LES PIPELETTES
La Redoute and “Arsène et les Pipelettes” have teamed up for a capsule collection for children that smells like summer.
Chloé de Bailliencourt, the brand’s designer, delivers a summary of her vision of children’s fashion. Exclusive prints, a beautiful palette of colours, right cuts, beautiful materials, joyful and amusing messages…
“Arsène et les Pipelettes” sign collections with a “modern, fair, efficient and cheerful style”, confides Sylvette Lepers, Head of Designer and Image Partnerships at La Redoute. Just like the 8 pieces (sweatshirt, dress, tee-shirt, shorts, swimming costume, sailor suit and Bermuda shorts) that make up the capsule. The basics have been revisited, in materials such as double cotton voile or bouclette embroidery and with an exclusive lemon print.
