La Redoute expands to La Réunion through a partnership with the Ghanty Group

This partnership is a new stage in La Redoute's international development strategy, and marks its first presence in the French Overseas Territories.

Since 10 May, the www.la-redoute.re website has been offering Reunionese consumers full access to its two flagship home decoration brands, La Redoute Intérieurs and AMPM, as well as its ready-to-wear range La Redoute Collections.

In addition, a La Redoute Intérieurs shop has opened in Le Port, in the Cap Sacré Coeur shopping centre, one of the island’s largest, with 5 million visitors a year. Covering an area of 313 m2, La Redoute Intérieurs presents its collections in contemporary, boho and vintage styles, as well as a range of decorative products, tableware, bed linen and bath linen.

This development in La Réunion is in line with La Redoute’s expansion plan, which is based on a phygital strategy combining physical shops and online platforms.

Under the same innovative partnership model, the brand already has a shop in Greece and another in Mauritius. These partnerships enable La Redoute to penetrate hard-to-reach markets while drawing on the expertise and strong local networks of its partners.
